A6D.C.FAIL SAFE BRAKE (USB/UMB)

D.C. Brakes are operating on D.C. Supply and used to stop motion where emergency stop is required. The Brake is normally in ON Condition ( In Braking Condition) and when D.C. Supply is given to the coil, the Armature Plate attracts towards the Brake Stator against the springs. When the supply is cut off, the brake will engage by means of spring pressure.

FLANGE MOUNTED BRAKE (NORMALLY OFF)

TYPE : UFB

Electromagnetic D.C. Flange Mounted Brakes are Normally Off type Brakes. These Brakes are applied after disconnecting the supply to the Drive or Driven. External D.C. Voltage will be given to the brake stator (coil) which attracts the Armature and thus the brake is applied.

    A.C. Fail Safe Brakes manufacturers are operating on A.C. Supply (440 VAC) and used to stop motion where emergency stop is required.   • PNEUMATIC BRAKE (TYPE:UPNB)

    Pneumatic Brakes are Fail Safe in nature. When pneumatic pressure (air) is applied, the brake will be released and will allow the prime mover to run. When the pneumatic pressure is released, the brake will engage and stop the motion.

  • ELECTRO HYDRAULIC THRUSTER BRAKE

    These Electro Hydraulic Thruster Brake (A.C. Thruster Brakes) are also known as Electro Hydraulic Fail Safe Brakes. The Brake Shoes are normally in engage condition with Brake Drum. When Electro Hydraulic Thruster is energized, it releases the brake shoes from brake drum and drum will be rotating freely. When De-energised the EH Thruster, the Brake is engaged.

    AC Disc Brakes (Type: SADB) is Fail Safe Type Brake operates on AC Voltage. It is used where emergency stop is required. It works on Electro Mechanical Principle. When Power is applied, due to electromagnetic flux developed between solenoid mating part and get s attracted against spring force & allows the rotor to run. When power supply is withdrawn, due to spring force, armature returns back to original position & clamps the rotor and stops the motion.

  • ELECTROMAGNETIC A.C. SHOE BRAKE – TYPE :SAC

    SYTCO A.C. Shoe Brakes are Normally On Type Brakes ( A.C. Fail Safe Brakes). The Brake is normally in On Condition & when A.C. Power supply is given to the coil, it will attract the Armature. The Lever fitted with the spring will be actuated and thus the brake opens and allow the prime mover to run freely. When power supply is withdrawn, due to spring pressure, the brake shoes go back to its own position and stop the motion.
